Spotlighting the art scene on both sides of the Channel, two prizes are presented annually at high-profile art fairs: the Fluxus-CPGA Prize at Frieze London (since 2023) and the Fluxus Prize at Art Basel Paris (since 2024). The prizes – worth £15,000/€15,000 each and awarded to the artist and their gallery – are decided on by a jury composed of leading figures drawn from the British and French art worlds. Galleries from any country can apply, provided they present the work of a French/British artist on their stand.

Mettant en avant la scène artistique des deux côtés de la Manche, deux prix sont décernés chaque année lors des foires d'art contemporain : le Prix Fluxus-CPGA à Frieze London (depuis 2023) et le Prix Fluxus à Art Basel Paris (depuis 2024). Ces prix, d’une valeur de 15 000 £/15 000 € chacun et décernés à l’artiste et à sa galerie, sont attribués par un jury composé de personnalités éminentes issues des milieux artistiques britanniques et français. Les galeries de tous les pays peuvent poser leur candidature, à condition de présenter sur leur stand l’œuvre d’un.e artiste français.e ou britannique.

Prix Fluxus-CPGA à Frieze London

In collaboration with the Comité professionnel des galeries d'art and Frieze London, the Fluxus-CPGA Prize at Frieze London supports talent from the French art scene and promotes its visibility and influence internationally. It also celebrates the relationship between artists and their galleries, as the £15,000 prize is shared between the two.

Frieze London was founded in 2003 by Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover. The fair is one of the world’s most influential contemporary art fairs, focusing only on contemporary art and living artists, and takes place each October in Regent’s Park. The 2025 edition marks the 22nd anniversary of Frieze London, with a dynamic programme.

Since 1947, the Comité professionnel des galeries d'art has represented galleries in France and defended their interests among politicians, institutional representatives and administrative authorities. It participates in the development of art market regulations and contributes to cultural policies that promote the development of the entire sector. The Committee informs and advises more than 300 member galleries on the specifics of their status, duties and obligations, providing them with support on technical issues. In recent years, the CPGA has been involved in major cultural events in order to raise the profile of art galleries, which are true partners in artistic creation. It also works to develop the French art scene internationally.

En collaboration avec le Comité professionnel des galeries d'art et Frieze London, le Prix Fluxus-CPGA à Frieze London soutient les talents de la scène artistique française et promeut sa visibilité et son influence à l'échelle internationale. Le Prix rend également hommage à la relation entre les artistes et leur galerie, puisque le prix de £15,000 est partagé entre les deux.

The Fluxus Prize at Art Basel Paris supports talent from the British art scene and promotes its visibility and influence internationally. It also honours the relationship between artists and their galleries, as the 15 000 € prize is shared between the two.

the Grand Palais, in the heart of the French capital. The show will build bridges with France’s cultural industries to create a flagship event radiating throughout the city, embedded in its exceptional cultural ecosystem.
