Artistic proposal*:

Artistic proposal outlining the relevance and the singularity of your practice and research interests within the context and focus of the host institution, and demonstrating your motivation for applying to an international residency at this point in your career and the benefits it will bring.

The selected artists are expected to work according to the focus of each residency, in resonance with each specific context –geographical or historical, societal, artistic etc.

FAQ

Applications are dedicated to contemporary visual artists
Applications are not open to students
Artists are considered to be based in a region if they have an address (residence) within that region
All applications must be written in English
Joint applications (duo, collective, etc) are not accepted
Please don’t send us material documents. If you do, the Institut français du Royaume-Uni will be unable to send them back
